Victor and I do not wish to receive any gifts, as we are established in our lives and have everything that we need. We want all of our family, friends, and acquaintances to know that we truly do not expect any gifts, and that your presence at our celebration party is all we could ever hope for. For those who still feel the need to give:
In lieu of gifts, we will be collecting donations to the ECHO Food Shelf of Mankato, MN. (Please follow that link to the food shelf’s website for more information.) Since our party takes place just before Thanksgiving, we feel it’s perfect timing! Let’s use this wonderful time in our lives to make a difference to others in our community.
Items ECHO doesn’t buy, but gladly accepts as donations to give out:
- Baby items:
- Cleaning Supplies:
- Snacks:
- Drinks:
- Personal Hygiene:
Diapers, Wipes, Baby Shampoo, Baby Lotion, and Baby Food
Laundry Detergent and Dish Soap
Chips, Cookies, Crackers and Candy
Coffee, Tea and Juice
Shampoo, Toothbrushes Toothpaste, Deodorant, Toilet Paper, Feminine Napkins, Tampons, Razors, Shaving Cream
Donating Money:
If you are interested in helping the ECHO Food Shelf, donating money allows them to buy more food items than could be purchased by individuals. Because of their status as a regional food shelf, they are able to purchase the following items at a significantly reduced rate from the Second Harvest Food Bank:
| Cereal | Vegetables | Pasta | Rice |
| Peanut Butter | Fruit | Soups | Beans |
| Tuna | Milk | Meat |
Through your monetary donation, you will be providing a significant number of these items to be given out to needy families.
Money donations may be brought to the party or mailed to:

(There is also a pay pal link on their website for money donations.)
